This Throttle Lock satisfies the requirements of the Australian Aviation Transport Security Act 2004 which came into effect in March 2005. This throttle lock is for use on single-engine aircraft with push-pull type throttles only. It is not designed for use on quadrant type throttles. It is available in two versions one for vernier-type throttles (push, pull and twist) and one for non-vernier-types (push and pull only). This throttle lock is 38mm ID and completely covers and locks your aircraft’s throttle. Alternatively, could be used to lock mixture control. Quick and easy to use, with a turn of the key your throttle is locked and impossible to use, effectively protecting your aircraft from theft. Of welded aluminium construction it is supplied complete with a stainless steel disk type padlock with two keys. Designed so that it is impossible to break the lock with bolt cutters.
